The CIELO team has a department dedicated to practicing our guzuna (a Zapotec word that means collective work for the collective good) with the Indigenous migrant community in Los Angeles. The Community Affairs Department is directly linked to the indigenous migrant community in Los Angeles. They provide vital resources such as the food pantry program, access to vital information through their monthly meetings, Cafecito con CIELO, and support communities at our satellite offices in the Mexican and Guatemalan consulate.
